Oh my, they are such a cute pair!! Hope Finlay comes round soon, he looks so adorable peeking out near his window. It really is a shame they don’t realise we are just trying to do things for the greater good.

Yes but i messed up thinking that all Robos want more substrate. Talking of mess. I think he's back to his usual self now, going by the state of his wheel, sand and tank in the morning. When he wasn't happy, his tank looked worringly tidy.

I have just finished reading this thread. I started at the beginning until when I first posted on it. What an amazing read. You are wonderful Ria. You have saved so many hamsters. I noticed you saved a lot of robos. It was wonderful to read how they all ended up with happy lives.

I collected this little boy not long ago and took him to a rescue. He's waiting for his forever home now.IMG-20220901-WA0001.jpg

It wasn't a rescue because he was well loved and cared for but his human companion moved through work and couldn't take him.
His ad caught my eye because he was going free with a half decent cage and a big wheel. I always contact people advertising hamsters for free and point out the dangers of their hamsters falling into the hands of nasty unscrupulous people.
I checked with a lady who rehomes and luckily she had a space so i mentioned that as an option and offered to take him there. The offer was taken up.

I am happy to know he was well loved. I bet his human is so sad to not be able to keep him.

Yes she was. At least she knows that he will only go to a good home. He's lovely. Very tame and calm.
