Re: Foster hamsters
ok, I'm going to try getting mine into their playpen before attempting to tame. If it doesn't work, I'll also be okay with that because I know they aren't naturally tame and they're still great pets even if I don't hold them often. thanks Ria P and Lunathehamster for the tips and new perspective!

Re: Foster hamsters
Little Robo Lola has been adopted today and moved into a wonderful home. I couldn't have wished for better. So happy for her.

Re: Foster hamsters
Lola has been in her bedsit here for 3 long months waiting for her luck to change and she got very lucky.
A Robo has been camping on my bedside cabinet for the last couple of days so i'll get the bedsit ready for him soon as i get a chance.

Yes, he's a Robo currently living in the equivalent of a tent. Ex child's toy that got dumped in a petshop adoption tank and been there for weeks. No interest because of his age so i took him home and let him camp on my bedside cabinet until Lola's lovely cage arrived and she was able to move into her new home.

He looks cute, is he right at the back in the middle? Great enclosure.

Haha! No, that's an ornament of a harvest mouse behind the tank. He's peeking out from the cork log.
