Re: Foster hamsters
He is a beautiful boy and he's friendly. Stopping over at ours for a night or two and then he's moving to a friend's rescue and a lovely set up.

Re: Foster hamsters
Scottie's new wheel arrived so had to rearrange the foster tank to fit it in.
The house/platform in the middle now has three doors so he can walk through it.
I saw a small black jumping fly which i think is a fruit fly or something from a house plant so keeping substrate low and white for the time being. He can burrow a bit in the right back corner.
I vacuumed everything and changed substrate but not worried as yet.

Re: Foster hamsters
And i thought of an easy way to hang up a nibble stick in a tank by attaching it to a pipe cleaner which i fastened to a small hook screwed into the fire surround or a wall etc.

Re: Foster hamsters
I love that set up! It looks brilliant. Great idea to use a pipe cleaner for the nibble stick.

Re: Foster hamsters
I'm keeping Robo Scottie and will eventually move him into Monty's Hamster Heaven. Once i've figured out a set up that's enriching for Scottie but also enables me to get him out.
