Re: Foster hamsters
Foster dwarf Jim reminds me so much of Ozzy. Same reclusive, underground dwelling individual. Not scared of humans but hasn't got much time for them.
This morning Jim came to the door looking for a treat so i couldn't resist and stroked him. Jim ducked and gave me the same "no need for that, just hand over that mealworm" look i used to get from Ozzy.

Re: Foster hamsters
Collected this young girl today and what a lot of drama. She lived in a cage with very wide bar spacing she was able to escape from and she did. She went missing all night in a house with dogs but was found mid morning. I collected her immediately and was so relieved to be able to take her to a safe place in a friend's rescue.

Re: Foster hamsters
I'm so glad you got her Ria. I saw Happy Paws Rodent Rrscue trying to find her help and I said what was it with that bar spacing. Not surprised to hear she had escaped. Glad she is safe now.

She was in the medium zoozone. I've never been able to figure out what kind of rodent it's marketed for.
Top opening lid with guinea pig bar spacing and barely enough floorspace for a dwarf hamster.

Re: Foster hamsters
Today's little man in my car and on his way to a better life.
Yet another collaboration of likeminded people helped this handsome hamster.
Next stop, a Plaza with a big wheel.
I always carry whimzee tooth brushes in my car which has puzzled a few passengers. What's that? Followed by a Whaat??!
