Thanks x
The lovely Joe has been reserved.
I decided to rehome him myself because i was undecided whether i really wanted to or not. I was so so tempted to keep him but then decided to advertise him in case someone can offer him more than i can and i didn't want to be selfish. With five resident hamsters plus fosters now and again there simply wouldn't be enough hours in one evening to give them all the out of cage time they enjoy by adding another.
Roll on retirement, two years and three months to go and then i can live like a hamster.

Re: Foster hamsters
Picked up another little boy who was living in a small cage without a wheel and cat litter like substrate.
He's overweight and ignored his wheel because he didn't know what it was. I thought, boy, you need to get into shape so i picked him up and chucked him on the wheel. He started walking and then picked up speed.
My OH named him Jack.
