We have a lodger called Ivy who was made homeless after a fight with her sister.
She's moved into the Duna Multy with two wheels, a labyrinth house, sandbath and hides. Ivy keeps popping in and out of the roof entrance.
She's very very fast and jumped out of the tank in the adoption centre. Luckily i managed to catch her in my hands.
Once i get some decent photos of her i'll try and find her a good forever home.

I've set up my spare Hamster Heaven with things i already had to accommodate a dwarf hamster. No idea when/if someone is going to move in but i like to be able to help out a hamster in need.

Only thing is that i don't have any pie dishes left in my kitchen now because they've all managed to find their way into hamster habitats.

I collected 3 months old Clarissa (renamed) today who used to live in a habitrail and hasn't been handled.

She will be up for adoption once i get to know her and is currently living in the spare Hamster Heaven.

I've never had a brown dwarf with a pointy head and small ears before.

Is she a hybrid?

I've put some degus shelves into Clarissa's habitat and rearranged a couple of things to give her more surfaces to run around on.

Most new hamsters would disappear but not Clarissa. While all the commotion was going on in her cage she sat on a corner shelf eating and watching!

Once finished she inspected everything and seemed pleased with the result.
The boot lying on its side in the right front corner doubles as a hideout and her lookout. She often stands on top of it watching what's going on.

Young black hamster Frieda, a Syrian girl, moved into the Grosvenor today.

I wonder if her presence will get noticed by glamour boy. That's Rory's nickname who aside from posing and looking good does very little.

Just collected this lovely and tame dwarfie. Luckily i saw the ad soon after it came out.

He was last year's Christmas present for the kids and the novelty had worn off. At least the mother cared enough to realize he deserved better. He lived in an awful cage and i will make sure that his life will get a lot better from now on.

Yayh, so happy for Frieda, but slightly jealous, I really liked her

I've just spent most of the afternoon setting up Luca's Hamster Heaven. I'm not fussed how long it takes to find him a suitable forever home because at least he can live in comfort now.
