Wheel time!
Hey guys! Just for fun, I was wondering when your hammies usually start running at night!
My Syrian, Charlie always runs on his wheel around 12 pm, he is a late one.

Re: Wheel time!
Mocha wakes up anywhere between 9 PM and 1 AM and starts running as soon as he's had a dig and a pee in the sandbath. :P

Re: Wheel time!
anywhere from 11-not waking up. my girl is almost 2 years old and doesnt have to much energy, sometimes shes doesnt even wake up! but if she does she wont really run on her wheel. maybe a spin or so but not much.

Re: Wheel time!
My Robo appears from nowhere between midnight and 1am to run wheely circuits in his sand pit where his wheel is. It's a couple of laps around the wheel then a few rounds on the wheel on repeat.
My Syrian i very rarely see on his wheel because he waits until i've gone to bed. My guess is that he runs around 1am.
For my dwarf its food first then more food and exercise later. He runs during the night after midnight and does the odd daytime session.
My other dwarf is a morning girl and always on her wheel in the early morning hours.

Re: Wheel time!
My Robo wakes up briefly at about 4-5pm for a drink, but goes straight back to bed. She wakes up properly from about 3-4am to run on her wheel.

Re: Wheel time!
my dwarf ham Mimo starts waking up around 10pm and will come in and out of their hides and tunnels every half hour or so. They'll scratch at the wall until I put my arms in and play with them- its really cute. Mimo starts running on the wheel at about 4am and will continue until a little bit after 6am.

Re: Wheel time!
Jupiter wakes around 8pm and then starts to bite bars because she wants to be let out. I let her free roam for a while and when I put her back she'll sporadically use her wheel, but she's not one to use it for longer than 5 minutes straight.
I got Sock yesterday and all I've seen him do so far is use his wheel. Yesterday and tonight he woke later, around 11pm. Both times he went straight for the wheel!
