What a day....
Had a diastrous day today. Woke up and got ready for work as usual and came through to check on spud. Cage empty. I freaked out and had a quick look around and so set up a mini-trap and left for work. I came home (after 10.5 hour shift) and started hunting again. Where did I find the little monkey? In a cardboard box looking remarkably pleased with himself. He had also had a nibble of some of my mounted photos....grrr. He's ok physically considering he jumped some distance from a cabinet thing that his cage sits on. He's been in his wheel and running around quite happily. I'll still be keeping a close eye on him just in case. I also could not stay angry at him, despite being constantly worried about him that my friend had to take me to lunch, so naturally he got some treats when I found him. Apart from escaping, he also made me late for work and I got in trouble with my supervisor.
Cheeky little monkey

Re: What a day....
What a naughty boy! Thankfully Boris has not made any bids for freedom (as yet!). Its wierd isn't that we can'tr be cross with our hammys for long - just one look at their cute little faces and we crumble!
