White Smelly Liquid

Hi ppl.
Sometimes when i put my syrian Indiana in his ball, i come back to him and a white really smelly liquid is coated the inside of his ball. Is this normal or something i should worry about.
He seems fine otherise.

It sounds like he has peed himself Matt - the ball may just stress him out, someone correct me if I am wrong x

Maybe, i didnt think hamster wee was white though. Thanks for the advice. he doesnt seem scared cause sometimes when i take him out and leave the ball open on the sofa he runs into and trys to run :P

lol it is wee lol we have three syrians and when they go in the balls pumpkin wees all the time and it is very smelly, almost like a territorial thing. Just make sure you wash the ball out because it can get verrrry smelly!

If he is smelly in the cage try potty train him, we trained pumpkin to go in a jar so we can wash it out every few days

ps. Indy is a great name lol although he will have to be Indy Jr on hamycentral hehe (see my indy in my avatar!)

Its wee..... they pee in the ball and then trail it round the carpet...

such is their love and appreciation for us :S
