Re: Seven world's one planet
Thank you so much for that. An absolute MUST SEE!
That's the black bellied ones and they are bigger than our pet ones. I'm from Central Europe but have never seen one.
Don't know why that red thumbs up symbol above is upsidedown but technology puzzles me.

Wouldn't it be great if they did more programmes about where hamsters come from and the habitat they live in, it might encourage people to give them a more natural life instead of shutting them in tiny cages with plastic things

Re: Seven world's one planet
YES! I saw the little darling with stuffed pouches on the preview for next week's episode and was supposed to mention it on the forum! I enjoy wildlife documentaries but especially excited about Sunday's episode. (You can bet your life I'm going to be hinting at dad throughout the episode to get cracking on shelving for my empty cage. lol.)

Yes, that would be great. A decent book on the market would be helpful too. Like you, i can't wait till Sunday 18.15 BBC 1. Just looked it up because i rarely watch the telly.

Re: Seven world's one planet
I hope that those who saw this programme really enjoyed the hamster section.
For those that missed it, the best bits can be seen on the BBC news website.
Just scroll down to the very bottom of the front page to the section header Weekend sorted by iPlayer and the 3 minute video clip is well worth it, even if you viewed it during the programme. You can’t mistake which clip is the right one!
