I have both for my Robo's. the silent spinner but it quite powerful and flings little hammys out. the saucer is good too, two can run at one time if you have 2 and its brilliant to watch them on it
Although my hammys do struggle to get their balance.

My Syrian is too big for her silent spinner...althought they are good. The only con I can think, is that you can't adjust the height when it's on the stand.

I'm thinking of buying a flying saucer, but I'm not sure how my syrian will cope with it. Hmm.

i tried one of the flying saucers but it was just ignored. Don't think they're big enough for a Syrian from what i've seen.

I've just got one for my syrian as they were out of silent spinners and he loves it! So sweet to watch! If he gets to big for it, it can be an addition to my dwarfs cage and i'll get him something bigger =)

i think if a hamster likes running it will run on anything i had both for my russian dwarf and he used both. the wheels are probably easier to run on than the flying saucers...
