!! Urgent !!

I think my hamsters going to die today.
im holding her right now she feels so cold and her breathings so slow, i've had her since 2015-16 so about 4 years now. She usually never sleeps in my arms but she's huddling against me for warmth right now. Before I took her out of her cage she kept going out of her hut and curling up under her wheel/near the spot she goes to the bathroom and sleeping there.

What should I do...?

This sounds a little bit like how my syri-bear past away, I'm really sorry

4 years quite a long time for a ham, just be there for her and comfort her. Try and make her as comfortable as possible and talk to her softly. If it's her time to go, she'll go.

3years of age is a very very good age for a hammy, but what you are describing it does sound as though his time may be very near, all you can do is keep him warm and comfortable, he will go when it is his time. it is a sad time but you have been there for him when he needs you the most.

She is a very great age and it sounds like she is nearing her time. Keep doing what you are - keep her snuggled against you as she will appreciate the love and comfort. So very sorry - it's so hard. When they are ready to go, they often leave their nest and choose a place to die and it sounds like that's what she was doing earlier. If you get too tired and it's late and she hasn't passed then you may need to put her back in her cage if you need to go to bed. See how she goes. She may pass soon or she may not tonight. So sorry - she is lucky to have you there xxx

Thank you everyone for the kind words and advice. Today on May 19, at 17:46, Tiny Pig passed away in my arms. I love her so much.

She had asphyxiated ( looked like she was retching ) as I held her close and let her cuddle into my chest before she took her last breath. She was my second longest living hamster that was like my best friend, who at the end of the day, was there for me through heartbreak, joy, and any other emotion i could imagine. I hope she has a good night's rest, and has fun over the rainbow. Tiny pig is loved, missed, but never forgotten. I love you, sweet girl.

The only photos I have of her due to the fact I did not have a camera on her last day.

So sorry for your loss, it's always very sad to lose a ham but she had such a long life full of love & you were there for her at the end to comfort her, no ham could wish for more, try to take comfort in that.
She was a beautiful girl, I'm sure she will be missed very much but will have left you with so many memories to cherish as she lives on in your heart.

But thank you for being there for her, it probably meant so much to Tiny Pig to be surrounded by warmth and love despite it being such a hard time. She was precious and I'm sure she had an amazing life which was fantastic and full of so much love.

I'm so very sorry for your loss. Your gorgeous Tiny Pig was absolutely gorgeous and had a very long and happy life filled with tons of love and care. She sounded absolutely marvelous and I know she will be greatly missed by you. It was good that you were able to comfort her as she passed to the bridge; I'm sure you made it easier for her knowing that she was surrounded by all of your love. She will live on in your heart and your memories. Hugs to you.
