Photos?
It’s been awhile since I’ve posting photos. How do you post photos to the foreum? It was by using photo bucket, but that’s changed.
Thank you

Re: Photos?
You’re an angel, Cypher. Thank you
My photos files are too large. Won’t upload. Any other ways of adding photos? Preferably via phone.

Re: Photos?
Hi Teddy, try and find a free app that resizes photos. Not sure what to advise you to get. Then you can upload much more easily.
I use SimpleResize but another HC'er says it needs updating so I would be interested in what you find online and choose.

Re: Photos?
I'm not sure about this but I think you can still upload to photobucket, resize them and then download them again. I was doing that intially but not sure if you still can. I stopped because photobucket is so blooming slow anyway! I use Batch photo downloaded onto a pc. You can use it free, but it puts a watermark on your picture unless you pay a one-off fee to buy it. There are probably quite a few apps or free online resizing places.

Re: Photos?
If you use Microsoft windows, you can just use paint to resize your images! Right click on the image in file explorer, select open with... Choose paint. Once inside paint, you'll find an option called resize. Click on it and switch to pixel. Resize and save. Easy as that.

Re: Photos?
Wow Razor that is a new one for me - thank you! I spent ages trying to work out if you could do it in Windows and gave up - off to try it! Worked a treat! How did I not know this?!!! Anyway I left it on percent and changed 100 to 25 instead because I never know how many pixels it should be. That changed a 3mb file to about a 250kb one which is fine for uploading. Although maybe 22 percent may be best to get the file under 200kb.

Re: Photos?
Haha you're welcome! I usually set it to 600 pixels wide. Windows scales the height automatically. It usually works out to the right file size and is a good fit for the forum pages as well.
