Well, he is accounted for this morning! Phew!

He hasn't pouched up any of his food scattered but did find his wheel all night

He has also been a silly ham and chosen to sleep in the empty house of two..but not taken any bedding in! Still finding his little paws bless him

He looks lovely! I love his coloration too. The colors and the red eyes looks so cute together. :
And. And. And. Those cute little paws. I happy cried a little when I say that.

Congrats on adopting Dove - he is absolutely adorable and his nose is so cute. Sounds like he has found an amazing home with you.
He was my favourite and the one I would have picked. I'm so looking forward to hearing more about him - as it already sounds like a right character.

He's hard to get a good colour photo on without sunshine...he's like a pinky grey...with a brown tinge! So I don't think mink or true dove...maybe dodgy dove lol

I got him out today, he is unbelievably soft! I had to scruff him to check out his paw, has a little old scab on his pad I'll keep an eye on.

He was ok being handled but a little jumpy but sure that will go. He ran onto my shoulder and owning rats it's hard to remember their balance isn't the same!!!

Lol, Dove sure is quite the mischievous little character - quite the great adventurer and master of the grand Houdini escape! I'm so relieved that your friend was able to capture him and you were able to bring him home safe and sound to your loving home. It is funny that he decided to sleep in the corner tray which is protecting the hole. Thankfully, he didn't manage another escape over night. I have already fallen head over heals with your little naughty ham. He sure is handsome and so full of fun and spunk. I'm sure he will keep you on your toes and you will love absolutely every single second of it.

He still hasn't taken much bedding in or explored the other house, I certainly hear him on the wheel at night though! Thinking about name changes...my rats all have lord of the rings or ancient greek/roman themes.. though I have got it into my head of calling him Jumanji

Here is his set up

He's sleeping in there atm

He hasn't found the house under the ledge yet!

Pics of his cage setup look awesome and so much fun. I'm glad that he is enjoying his wheel, too. I had a beloved sun conure parrot named Aragorn (from The Lord of the Rings), still have my heart-ham Syrian called Eros (Greek god of Love), and named one of my favorite childhood stuffed sock monkeys Jumanji. As you can see, I definitely understand the love of those types of names, lol. Regardless of whatever name you choose, have fun doing so; I look forward to hearing what name you give the darling.
