Will he still be nice to his brother?

Okay, so I'm sure you all know my ham, Ares. I'm thinking of getting him a playmate, and the hamster I'm going to let him meet, just so happens to be his brother. They were previously housed together prior to me buying Ares. The question is, will he still be nice to his former playmate?

Hamsters don’t need playmates/friends. I would not recommend trying to introduce another hamster to him as there is a high chance they will fight. Ares will be perfectly happily without a playmate and being alone.
The only friend Ares need is you.

As SKB said hamsters don't need playmates & introducing another hamster to Ares now would be extremely stressful for both hamsters & could result in injuries or worse so please don't try, even siblings cannot be reintroduced once they've been separated.
Hamsters are territorial so Ares will be much happier having all his things to himself!
