Re: Meet James
The pics remind me of MH being exhausted after his wheel maraham running.
James looks to be enjoying his new home.

Re: Meet James
He's not been up long enough tonight to be in his wheel, he has just been sleeping. James was up a couple of times during the day, it is a little warm tonight maybe that is making him sleepy? At his age he should be up and energetic, he has been walking on my hands too when awake but he's been trembling.
I am a little worried to be honest.

Re: Meet James
He's probably over done it on the wheel Blue, I didn't get Harvey until he was 9 weeks old and I worried he was overdoing it.
Him trembling could be him feeling a bit nervous.
Place a piece of apple, carrot or cucumber in his cage to ensure he's kept hydrated.

Re: Meet James
It's still very early days, the heat could make him less inclined to come out so I wouldn't worry too much about that & I think the trembling could just be from nerves too.

Re: Meet James
They just get so excited and overdo it then worry us when they start trembling.

Re: Meet James
Last couple of nights he still hasn't been up to be in his wheel, at least not when we're awake. He's eating, drinking, pooping, peeing normally, he's not trembling as much either. He sleeps all day and he sleeps all night from what I can tell, I do check on him at 10pm to get him out for a small handle session. He will wake up and move around sometimes be speedy, he doesn't seem to be sluggish and his eyes are clear.
Doesn't appear to look sick or anything he just sleeps a lot, he's now six weeks old and all this sleeping makes me worried. I been giving him cucumber he eats the middle of it.

Re: Meet James
Have you tried putting substrate on top of the wheel to see if it's been used in the night? He sounds fine really so may just still be settling in.

Re: Meet James
I was thinking that too about substrate on top of wheel, he may well be running in it when you're asleep, what wheel has he got?
