Re: 31 days of August
I was bowled over by the last pics but these ones of Ziggy are so cheeky, such mega cuteness and his coat is so glossy. I love seeing hams getting stuck into their veggies.

Re: 31 days of August
Tycor looked so lovely in his twilight years - very distinguished. Ziggy was a beautiful little round furball! Love the nest making video. It made me laugh - he was on top of a nice big Leif house and was busy making a nest in the pumpkin Nice little scratch along the way!

Thank you for sharing Ziggy with us. He was such a sweetheart! I especially like the picture of him with his cucumber. His expression is priceless!

AWWWW ziggy was so cute! His coat also changed a lot, didn't it? At least in one of the pictures he looks really white.
I think we should dedicate the song Starham in our EHO show to him as a tribute. It would be so nice!

Re: 31 days of August
I definitely agree!
The show is going to be a tribute to all of the hams who have gone to the bridge.

I love the creativity & enrichment you have in his cage He looks so cute in those pics of him in his orange tube, eating a veggie & the video. He looks like he certainly looks determined in making his nest

Re: 31 days of August
I've just seen Ziggy's video, he's so addictive to watch and my heart melted over and over watching him perfect his nest.

Re: 31 days of August
Thanks Lizzy, I'm sure Ziggy would be very pleased to know you enjoyed seeing him
Serendipity he was funny building his nest in the pumpkin, he did mostly sleep in the cabin but when he got it into his head to make a bed in there he would be at it for ages & so funny to watch!
AP I know, that face never failed to make me laugh, so determined to get those cucumber seeds out lol!
Hamsterita that's such a lovely idea, I'm sure he would be honoured & delighted to have Starham played as a tribute & it's lovely that the whole EHO concert will be a tribute to all the Rainbow Bridge hams too
Ziggy did get lighter as he aged but in that photo with the pak choi he was just catching some sunlight & looked much paler than he was, he never went totally white the way Mickle did.

Re: 31 days of August
We never forget our hams over the years, they leave a huge paw print on our hearts.
On this forum you get so attached to all the hams and when they go it hits you hard.
It's only right to make them part of it,

Re: 31 days of August
Oh cypher, Ziggy did make me chuckle out loud at his nest building. He was determined to try and get every last scrap into the Pumpkin if possible. Loved his little pause and back paw scratch before resuming! I can see why you love that first photo-perfect.
