Hamster Ball?

How many times a day should/ can a hamster be placed in a hamster ball?

I put my Pair in their balls for around 10-15 minutes everyday. I then put them in a playpen together for another 15-20 minutes everyday.

I used to let my hamsters (when I was a teenager) have a lot of time in their excercise balls. Every 10 - 20 minutes I would let them out so they could get food, water and go to the toilet.

Some of them would have 3 hours (with breaks). They were really energetic. Others has less time. It will depend on your hamster. It may like lots of ball time or it may like less ball time.

Nowadays balls are not being used as much and more people use play pens.

I don't put my Syrian in her ball anymore because she absolutely hates it, I just let her free roam. My dwarf gets 15 minutes balltime every evening, he loves his ball but after 15 minutes he's had enough.
