Colouring substrate
i am just planning to colour my substrate for one of my themed cages. so i am thinking of making a colour from red cabbage. i heard very little amounts are safe for syrians. donno, whether to use it?

Check the safe food list for hamsters. If red cabbage is ok. Then using them to make the dye should be ok to.

I'd say you're fine. Red cabbage is safe and your ham shouldn't be eating the bedding anyways. Have fun coloring!
