What type of dwarf hamster is this?
Hello! I got a new hamster from a friend today and she says that she is a winter white. I've done some research and it says that winter whites can't have red eyes.. so then what type of hamster is this?

Can you give us a picture? That'll allow us to have a better guess. Hm...from what you've told me though so far, I'd guess it were a Campbells Dwarf.

Hello and welcome to HC!
If she is from a petstore/non-breeder and doesn't have a pedigree, then she is most certainly a Campbells/WW hybrid. They are prone to diabetes so just be cautious with diet. Congrats on your little one
