Re: 31 days of May
Isn’t he lovely? I wish I could keep Mushu in my room, but sadly even with his silent runner I think he’d keep me up all night!

Re: 31 days of May
OH MY GOSH!!!!!!!!!!
I just clicked on your link to the Towy Vale Hamstery and was looking at the pictures of their hamsters. Right at the top is one called ‘What-a-mess’ who got his name because he fell into his porridge at 26 days old.
I remember that story very distinctly from the Hamsterlopeadia which I have read cover to cover about 100 times since I bought it 8 years ago (I guess you could call me a fan ). Anyway, does that mean that the Towy Vale Hamstery is owned by one of the authors of the Hamsterlopeadia? I think I will have a major fan girl moment over your Gopal if he was really bred by a Hamsterlopaedia author!
Edit: O. M. G. I just looked more carefully on the site and I was right! Peter Logsdail!!! Ahhhh I am so jealous you have a hammy from him. I owe him so much haha.
Edit 2: It even mentions the Hamsterlopaedia right at the bottom of the Home page I now realise. I was way too excited to see that obvious fact at first.

Aww! Gopal is such a sweet man & it sounds as though he was just meant to be yours! It is lovely the way he made his nest close to you too

Re: 31 days of May
Haha AprilPearl yep the famous man himself is Gopal's breeder. All their hamsters have porridge (full fat milk) every day. They are all soooo friendly and happily get up whenever people come in to see them. I like the hamsterlopaedia book, Erinsanimals does a good review of it on youtube.
I love hearing their noises at night (Gopal, Fairy and Arun).
Drago he is the one in my avatar. Mr flufftastic.
BP and Cypher it is rather adorable that he made his nest near my head. My heart just melted the first time he did that.
I love the way that he sits on his shelf and stares and stares at me in the begging position with his little front paws up. If I offer him his pringles tube he then happily oozes into it ready to be transported into his play box.
The other morning he was biting his bars so I offered him the tube. He played in his play box (on the rattly old trixie wheel) for over an hour then it was back home to bed in time for me to have an hours sleep!

Let me just express how jealous I am for the final time (I promise!). It would be my dream to get a hamster from Peter Logsdail - but I don't expect I'd qualify! If I ever got the chance to meet him I'd probably get him to autograph my copy of the Hamsterlopaedia though haha. I remember reading that about the porridge in his book! Wow, the things I get excited about.

Re: 31 days of May
So looking forward to your month Flowerfairy, I'm not surprised your mum is rather taken with your gorgeous fluffs.
What a cheeky adorable pic of Gopal.
