Lovely to see Robin again, he looks like he is settling well. Love his colouring, he looks so so sweet in the pics

This is going to sound bad but when I first got Robin I wasnt in love with him like I had been with all the others when I got them. I just saw the ad. thought how pretty he was and decided that he deserved a bigger cage and some attention but now ... I am hooked. He is so gentle, inquisitive and (of course) gorgeous. His little nose pokes out of his house every morning and every evening and he gently takes a piece of whatever herb or veg is on offer.

I have filled the empty bit of his floor area with sand, not just to get more footprints but also to make a bigger area for him to pee in.

He climbs on top of his house whenever I open the roof of his cage! He will climb out if I am not quick enough with his little box to take him to his play pen.

No pics today as I was out most of the day (dentist) and just havent managed to take any. Will try to make up for it in the next few days.

Must get Robin added to my siggie.

Mistletoe and Jingle have got two piggie digs from piggie pig pigs. They are wonderful. The little sweeties chattered away as they looked at them and did little popcorns before running the length of their cage to the hay area!

On the dog walk this afternoon Jojo started dancing in little circles kind of pouncing and leaping around. I went over to her and saw that she had found a bit of bone and was playing with it. Soooooooooo cute.

Got to go and feed the upstairs hamsters now, Arun, Fairy and Gopal. I can hear Fairy rustling around in her cage. Prob. looking at her watch and thinking where the h*** has my supper got to!

Robin is looking so teeny tiny in those photos, and also sounds like a lovely friendly hamster! Your kindness in adopting him definitely paid off

What are piggie digs? Sounds as though your lot are enjoying them!

Jojo sounds so cute. And I am SO jealous

Glad to hear Robin is such a lovely ham. It can take time to really connect with a hamser. You'll get used to him and soon learn about all his quirks and his personality. Then, you'll love him just the same as all the others. It was very kid if you to rescue him, and I'm sure he feels loved

AprilPearl I am guessing you mean Robin (new golden hamster). Gopal is my chocolate fluffer who came from the porridge feeding breeder (!).

Piggie digs are kind of fleece cave that look a bit like tea cosies on their sides!

Jojo is wonderful. Such a calm kind dog with a sweet playful streak and VERY affectionate.

Thank you Drago. I am falling for him more each day. He let me stroke him today whilst he was busy finding his breakfast that I had hidden round his cage.

Mistletoe has been rumbling away at Jingle today. I think she may be in season. She has done a LOT of whistling for grass today;

Jingle has been unfazed and just grazes contentedly;

Meanwhile Robin is happy with his nice big house and eagerly awaits brekky; (sorry its a bit blurred)

Really love the dining room these days. Sat in there having my breakfast and admiring the guinea pigs and Robin (Kashi was in bed).

Is Mistletoe your cream and white piggie? She looks so much like my Marley (RIP). Veeerrryyy cute and fluffy!

Great photos of the guineas with all that lovely grass, I did have to laugh at whistling for grass, so sweet!

Glad Robin is enjoying his big house, he's looking very keen & expectant waiting for brekky!

No probs AP. Yep Mistletoe is the cream guinea pig with a white blaze. Gopal is mr fluffy laid back sweetie chops. Hope you enjoyed reading about him.

The whistling is very lovely! Robin is always awake at food time and is perfectly calm about being stroked. I am sooo lucky.

Someone needs more space. Will be looking at some kind of diy cage shortly.
