can't say i'm overly impressed with point number 2 - daily supply of fresh fruit and veg. makes it sound like they have a bowl of it like GPs or rabbits.

I think they make the advice deliberately vague so as not to be held accountable...but they don't realise that they are then responsible for deaths as a result of not being specific enough..i.e. horrendous diarrhoea in a hammie fed too much fresh 'veg' which could be interpreted by the unwary as the dreaded iceberg lettuce. They are accountable because they are the RSPCA and most people take whatever they say as fact without question.

yup. fruit could be interpretted as watermelon! One thing i always try to do on my website is be specific... even though sometimes it comes across as overly basic or patronising... i want kids (and thick people) to be able to understand what i mean
