Hello and introducing....

Hi guys, ive been a member for a while but have been really busy recently and havent really had time to post...I didnt think it was fair not to introduce and update you guys on my brude though (hee hee) but also to say hi to all the new members i have missed in the interim...

Anyways last night a friend of mine dropped off her hamster simply because she is getting divorsed and although she would have loved to have kept him her new landlord to be said no hamsters but ok to cats?!! i wonder what goes on in these peoples heads sometimes...

Anyways ....so Merlin the lovely Syrian has come to live with us woop woop, for those who dont know ...joining our ever increasing brude of Pinky and the Brain (robos - soon to be 1 year old ), Gizmo (our wonderful Syrian Cream(?)satin from another member on here ), Munch (our rescue baby) .....

I wonder can anyone tell me what colour he is (kinda brown with black spots and a greyish tinge to the underneath) ?

thanks flogging_Molly...although i managed to say a proper hello to merlin last night and found out although he has been raised as a boy for the last 6 months, he is in fact a SHE!! LMAO... i rung my friend up and she was so shocked as she was told he was a boy!!

Aw bless, poor thing being raised as a boy! I'm sure she will get over it!!

Hard to tell without photos but sounds like she could possibly be a sable, they have a paler undercoat and a sooty grey "top coat" that often browns as they age.

It was me that Gizmo came from (black eyed cream satin), hope she is doing well with you, you might like to know that her Mummy won Long Haired Best In Show at the London Championships a month or so ago - Gizmo's two sisters that we kept from that (really lovely) litter have also done well and have both just had litters themselves.

does she have cream eye rings? all sables have those. can't say it sound very sabley to me as they have a cream undercoat, not grey. Could be a very umbrousy umbrous golden that's so umbrous you can't see any ginger. That would explain the black splodges (flashes)
