Turbo taming

Hi all, we have had our hamster "Turbo" for a few weeks now just wanted to post our taming update, when we first got him he didn't like us much haha, lots of hiding and squealing, we have now managed to get him to eat off our hands with confidence, and we are excited to continue building his confidence and to hopefully have him being handled without stress

That's excellent to hear! It sounds like you've been doing all the right things and have been very patient and persistent with him which is key to proper taming. Keep updating us on how his taming has been going, and if you ever need tips, make sure to ask questions

Thanks Drago, he was on out hand again tonight getting some seeds, he was happy to have his back gently stroked, the next step is to start lifting him slightly but I don't want to rush it and end up back at the start, perhaps try that next week. I'm trying to upload a pic of him to my profile
