Re: 28 Days of February 2017
Doesn't surprise me lol! I have horses in the field at the bottom of my garden & all the fences are wrecked by the horses "the grass is always greener" attitude

You live in a very beautiful place, and being surrounded by all those animals must be awesome.
All that green reminds me of where I live, Galicia. at least rainy and cold weather has some perks, like beautiful green landscapes, isn't it?

Re: 28 Days of February 2017
Ah Galicia! I never actually got there when I travelled round Spain a bit, but I heard it talked of with a lot of wonder and fondness as being a beautiful green place I met some people from Galicia and they talked about Galicia as the best place ever! I only got as far as Catlunya, Aragon, Valencia, Madrid and Castille y Leon, plus Seville and Malaga for one or two days. I was there for two months altogether and went back to Barcelona every year to visit friends. It was like my second home Then I met OH who was born here and has never left the country. One day I'll get him on an aeroplane ha ha. My ambition was always to walk the Camino de Santiago - I have a bad foot now so if I did it it might have to be on a quadbike lol.
Yes it's a lovely bit of countryside. We've only moved 7 miles up to the road and were on the edge of a small town before, but still near the same countryside. It's an AONB (area of outstanding natural beauty). A bit foggy on the photos - looks nicer when the sun is out. I'm finding it a bit quiet though And it gets quite exciting now when we go out somewhere and see some life and people. These days I regularly go a bit stir crazy as there's so much work to do indoors sorting the house out and you forget to actually look at the view. To balance it I have a painting in the bathroom (which has no window) that's like a trompe l'oeil of a window overlooking the seaside
There are some rare birds in the area (Lapwings and Corncrakes) they're a bit hard to photograph and it's the wrong time of year really. And the area is famous for the flower the blue Gentian.

Re: 28 Days of February 2017
Lovely start to the month.
It was interesting reading about Charlie cage upgrades and seeing pictures of the cage to give size comparisons. He looks so sweet in the coconut.
Such lovely photos of the birds of prey - they all look very impressive and fierce. I really enjoyed seeing the pictures again of Charlie in his Hedwig costume.
Love Charlie's big ears he looks so sweet in all those photos he always has such a lovely expressions.
Both of those horses are gorgeous - the grass must be nicer on the other side of the fence.

Lovely to have horses so close by. Dog training looks interesting. The last dog photo is sharp and a great one!
