Introducing Phoebe!

So, here is Phoebe! The hamster my grandad found and handed over to me! She's still quite shy, very gentle and delicate but is showing a bit more fesitiness now! For example nipping me when she's had enough play time, or running up to my shoulder and down my back! She's fattening up nicely now due to scrambled egg once a week, tiny cubes of cheese, porridge and the grain i usually buy.
I'm still a little nervous of her, I'm not sure why. I'm just so used to Pickles whose so bulky and a bit of a bruiser haha Phoebe feels tiny in my hand! Im applying savlon to the tiny tear in her ear where she must have got in a bit of a tussle and thats also healing up nicely!
So yes, that is my second hamster Phoebe!

Awww she is lovely. She looks like a cinnamon Robyn and she does not look very old. She has rather a baby face.
Glad to hear she has settled in well.

Aww thanks everybody. I forgot to mention she's compeletely deaf. I realised when i dropped her ball next to her cage on the wooden table. My first thought was Phoebe and how i'd have scared her to death but i didnt, she didnt even look up. Ive tested this several times by clapping, clicking etc and she never looks up just continues going about her business. Things like these make pickles jump so i assume Phoebe is deaf?

Aww that just makes her even more loveable, and it also makes it more amazing that during her time in the wild she wasn't killed by a cat.
