Hamster Reintroductions??
Hi!
So I have 2 lovely dwarf hamsters (Salt and Pepper; hybrid dwarves) who began some territorial issues when I got them. I put them into good bin cages next to each other. Lately, I've been wondering, is it possible to reintroduce them to try and get them to live together?
If so, I'm planning on getting a cage like the Zoo Zone or the Billy from the UK. Thanks!
(They are both female and are 7ish months)

Re: Hamster Reintroductions??
You should never reintroduce hamsters.Once they are split up,that is the end of things, and reintroducing will lead to severe injury or death depending on if you're lucky enough and fast enough to get them separated before it's too late.

Re: Hamster Reintroductions??
Amity is right, you can't reintroduce them now, they would be like strangers to each other & any attempt to do so would most likely end in fights & possibly serious injury.
I'm sure they're both settled in their own cages now & will be a whole lot happier staying that way, living solitary lives is much more natural for them too.
