Default I have got a.........

Coconut , I want to make someting for the hammies with it but not sure what, can they eat coconut?, Has anyone made anything for their hammies with a coconut and if so what was it so I can pinch your ideas.

if you scoop out the middle and cut the 2 ends off, you can make a tunnel type thing.

They can eat it however I would not let them have a whole lot at once as it is quite oily and they may get a taste for it and eat too much. Maybe a little cube every couple of days. Not sure how easy it is to clean them out well but you can buy the coconut cabanas in shops. Maybe the birds would like some too!

Ok thanks Souffle, I will give them a little treat sized bit, bird feeding is a no no though as with 3 cats it would be an all you can eat buffet (for the cats) so as scary as it sounds I might have to venture into the kitchen and actually cook something with it (hope I don't poison anyone)lol
