Pet Shop Fails!

Today I went to petco to get things for my cats (and future dwarfie, Dopey!) And I just started laughing to myself when the saw that chinese hamsters are apparently dwarf's, and syrians were short haired hamsters apparently. And a dwarf was stuck under the saucer, thankfully she was able to get out 👍🏻

The little dwarves love to hide under the saucers. Wonder how they can breath with some of the nests they make. The saucer is a favorite

Well Chinese hams are dwarfs lol! Not strictly speaking but generally that's what they're classed as & unless the syrians turn out to be long haired maybe they kind of got that right too

Chinese are so adept at getting in & out of the tiniest & silliest places, under saucers & wheels is one of the favourites

I once went to a pet shop where they were selling Russians (labelled Russians) and then had a picture of a Robo! That did may me laugh lol .

Hiding under a saucer is fine - I've never met a hamster that hasn't done it at least once . As long as it's lightweight.
