missing hammie :(

i was at work on friday night, then again saturday morning. Stayed at my boyfriends house on saturday night and when i cam eback 8am sunday morning my lovely harry had escaped
He'd chewed a hole right through his gabber rex lid. Looking at it, you would not think he'd get through it!! Nows the hard part. My bedroom is the attic. So theres lots of nooks and crannys. Luckily, i remembered a lot of other people's stories so i checked my slightly ajar wardrobe. Then the boiler cupboard. Which i thought might be the warmest place. it was also full of my bags :S Emptied it out, and theres a hole that leads to under the eves. (at first i thought it was just a drop!!) so ive kept the cupboard empty, put a bowl of water in there, and a cardboard box with food and bedding, and 2 piles of toilet roll. Although i was up til after 1 on sunday night, sometime between then and 7am he'd come out (from the hole i presume) and taken nearly all of one pile of tissue. This made me hopeful. So i spent yesterday clearing out my room (im a hoarder. so ive been ruthless. Give me more space, and less stuff to fight with). i put 4 of his fav treats in a line up to the cardboard box, and i had my sister check on them. It was half 12 she text me to say he'd taken them. (at least, im hoping it him :S)
While ive been going through my stuff, i realise he has also chewed the hood of my dressing gown, and a plastic carrier bag. There was also a plastic carrier bag inside a rucksack, and he's chewed that too! my plan is, to stay up tonight after work. (Ill get back about 10, maybes 11) all night, to try and catch him. I dont know what to do though. He's not nasty or aggressive, but he's still a little shy around me.
Also, ill need the light off and no sound to catch him. But, theres no way id stay awake. Im guna have to have a small book light so i can read.
Any other suggestions? Im devestated.
Whats worse, my dad has snakes. And although theyve never ever escaped before, it keeps going in the back of my mind

Oh dear. I know how that feels. My little robo got under the floor boards and into the wall cavity and had to be cut out my boyfriends mums walls ehe

I would suggest getting a bucket and putting a towel in it with a little ramp leading up. Then put food in the bucket and maybe on the ramp?? Perhaps food with a strong sent, or his favorite.
When he gets hungry he will follow the food into the bucket and fall into it (the towel cushioning his fall) and he will then be stuck!!
And you hopefully fingers crossed will get harry back
