About how long should you free range your hamster ? Just curious

Indoors or Outside?
Outdoors in her play pen Pip gets approx 30 mins on the lawn the same if in her ball oh and always supervised as she does like to tunnel out of said play pen...
Indoors in her ball anything up to 2 hours, she will let me know when she wants to go back in for drinks or nibbles by rocking up at my feet in her ball.

I just let Sweep play on my bed for as long as he wants - which to be honest isn't usually that long! He much prefers being in his cage!

make sure your hamsters tame first. I think the best thing to do is to start off only five to ten minutes then increase the amount he's out every time until an hour or two if you want.

Not sure how long, mine are usually in a play pen for a bit until they get bored, but remember to hamster proof the room
