Happy Birthday Lord James - it looks like he enjoyed his special day
Just caught up with your thread, that is such a lovely photo of Meat and Stitch. It was so nice reading about your fish - I never realised they lived that long, 14 years is really impressive. Lucie looked like such a lovely girl and also so nice hearing about your hamster Christmas present.
Lord James says thank you to everyone for your birthday wishes and he hopes his brother and sisters had a lovely day too, even if they didn't have a party.
Today's photo isn't actually a photo, it's a video taken yesterday of the birthday boy enjoying his birthday cake (they're actually the Vitakraft Muffins).
It's a bit dark but I didn't want to turn the flash on.
He's certainly enjoying that
Did the girls get to share some cake too?

We're leaving the present hamsters for now and going back to Meat.
Some of you may remember him although he'd have been very old when I first joined this forum. Todays photo was taken not long after we bought him home and was taken during a taming session. He was an easy hamster to tame for a pet shop ham and was happy to be picked up and held within a few days.
Aww the lovely Meat, he was such a special little man & lived to such a great age too so I'm glad we got to meet him when you joined, I always had a bit of a soft spot for him & still do

Aww I so remember Meat. So blooming gorgeous.
Belated Happy Birthday to his Lordship James, so lovely to see him being spoilt rotten and deservedly so.

Meat had a few similarities with Lord James although was much smaller and less of a 'show standard'. James tends to be a little less cheeky but both liked to sit on your arm watching TV, both weren't really bothered with an exercise wheel and both were expert diggers given the chance.
I was contemplating putting today's photo in Jessie's thread and posting another one of Meat but I thought that since I noticed and took it today then I'd post it today. This is what I come downstairs to in the mornings:
