Question HELP! Im going away for 4 nights

I am going away for 4 nights, no one will be in the house. I have had Hettie for 5 to 6 months now. she is a Syrian hamster. I'm having to head down to Cambridge for 4 days and 4 nights. hettie and I have a strong bond and she gets really lonely at night, she can also become extremely bored if not played with(chews bottle till it leaks, chews bars, ect as I said my gran will be coming everyday to cheak on her, but she is too quick for her to handle. I will leave a large water bottle and a lot of food, a few chew bars and a dried sweetcorn bar(and get my gran to feed her). Hettie has managed to escape from the tubing a few times, but that isn't an issue at the moment. I will clean her cage out tonight and make sure everything is safe and A OK, but I am concerned of her becoming lonely and bored. does anyone recommend anything I can do/give to her to prevent her becoming bored and lonely I'm really worried. thanks
Maddie

Make cardboard parcels from toilet rolls. Put her food in them. She could have one every day put in her cage. She would then have to chew them open to get the food.

Your gran could scatter feed her.

Put her daily food and any treats into bags and label them with each day on the outside to make things easier for your gran.

Don't worry too much. I know Hettie is staying at home so in familiar surroundings but she will sense the difference and may not be quite so outgoing.
I ham sit my daughter's 2 hamsters when she goes away ( they are here noŵ infact). I have my own one too. I cannot handle her robo, only she can. Also her Syrian, whom I can handle as he has been here several times, does not come out in his cage as much when we are around and he doesn't want to come out at all. She was horrified after his first stay here that he had no out of cage time but that was his choice.
It is only 4 nights and he will be glad to see you back. Don't be surprised if he is a little cross with you because of the change in his routine! It will pass quickly!

As Coco said, as long as she is being fed by your gran you should be ok.

She may be a little cross with you for leaving her but she will calm down in time! I left Willow with my mum for 5 days whilst I went in a residential trip with my school and she acted slightly out-of-character for the first few hours of my return but she calmed down after that

Hope you have a safe and enjoyable trip
