I love you! I thought Wilkos didn't exist anymore, but there is one in Stretford, it seems. Some kind of epic adventure coming up for me! I need lots of soft furnishings (on a student budget).

I <3 u. Haha! x

Unfortunately, I really do need them . My flat needs a good tarting up. I moved in when it was brand new 5 years ago, and now everything is rather tatty, and the sofas are awful. Asked for new ones, probably won't get them, so going to "glam up" the ones I have on the cheap.

I need to find a new housemate soon I think, and have no-one lined up, so I need to make the place look dreamy so some bugger moves in! STRESS!! Got to get a stronger tv unit for my new telly my dad got me too.

Did the bathroom last week with my loan, spent about £30 and it looks right posh again now . So, it's worth it I guess. Wahwahwah! x

A quick PS - I did look on Amazon, it was all a bit dear on there too. Wilkos looks ok - £20 on cushions won't kill me. Not now I have spent a small fortune on clothes for summer. Silly customs of humans.. so much cheaper to be nude!

lol

Know how you feel, we have bugged our landlord for things like boiler and cooker issues...as long as a house doesn't fall down they dont care much.

We got some deep purple and cerise throws from primark to cover our sofas and ebay for cushions, looks a tad better. good luck! xxx

Please keep on topic people. This cage sale was from 2009 and is not a thread to discuss home furnishings. This sort of conversation should be carried out by PM or in miscellaneous chat.
Thank you.
