I know what you mean! They have really thick fur which sort of makes them even more black, not sure if that makes sense haha.

Day 7 - Abou the Jigsaw Puzzle

If you haven't noticed yet, I'm going through my cats in age order. So far we have met Ebby who was 19 years old, Pupu who is 7 years old, Charlie who is 5 years old and today you will be meeting;

Jigsaw! (Baby picture, awwwwww) He's 4 years old.

Jigsaw actually had a brother, Puzzle. It will be 3 years this year on August the 20th since Puzzle went missing. It was a very stormy couple of days when Puzzle went outside and never came back. We tried everything, put posters up, searched for him, knocked on everyones doors, posted everywhere online - I still look for him. It was heartbreaking. Puzzle was my best friend, always gave me cuddles. He loved cuddles. It was also heartbreaking for Jigsaw too, ever since Puzzle went missing he has become sort of Bi-polar. He will be loving one minute and then grab and bite you really hard the next. He's getting better now, but it's upsetting seeing him grieve for the loss of his brother. They went everywhere together.

I'll tell you a little bit about Puzzle. We weren't actually going to take Puzzle - our neighbour was interested in him but they eventually decided they didn't want him so we took them both. One of my mum's friends had a litter which is where we got them from. Puzzle was more quiet than Jigsaw but he became such a loving cat. He would always give you cuddles and he absolutely loved belly rubs. My mum had 'Puzzle time' with him where he would run to my mums lap and lay on his back upside down for belly rubs. Jigsaw started doing it after he went missing - it's quite strange but lovely at the same time. Puzzle had a really funny run, when he ran his front arms would sway outward, so he looked like he was skipping all the time, haha!. I'm afraid to say it's quite difficult to remember much about him, and we only had him for 1 year. I really do remember the cuddles we had, he was my 'heart cat' if there's such a thing!? Just like we have our heart hams. I got mentally ill and I was depressed and had severe anxiety for over 1 year after his loss. I was utterly heartbroken and it still brings a tear to my eye when I think about him. I'm a lot better now. I hope he's out there somewhere being loved, or that he passed quickly and painless. The unknown is the most awful thing.

He's our missing Puzzle piece

Jigsaw was just like Puzzle, but not as attention seeking. As I mentioned since the loss of his brother he's got a little aggressive sometimes but is still the same cuddly boy who loves belly rubs. My mum is like his god, he does whatever my mum says, it's so funny. He does ' Jiggy time' - exactly how Puzzle did it. When my mum says ''Jiggy, off to bed!'' he goes running upstairs and waits on my mums bed for her. It's adorable.

I remember when they were kittens, I accidentally dropped a cooked sprout on the floor and they both ate it! weird ones they are haha.

Jigsaw broke one of his legs and fractured the other when he was about 2 years old, he kept taking his bandage thing off though! He hated it!

He's also quite a big cat, but not as big as charlie.

I have to go and do some work now, sorry I've not said much about JigJig, here are some pictures -

Goodness another fascinating story - I love the way you paint a picture of each individual cat by describing what they do and their personalities. So Sorry about Puzzle x Jigsaw looks scary on those last couple lol!

Oh my goodness! Catnapping is in order I think! Sorry about little Puzzle. He could have found a new home maybe. Nicer to think that then anything else ... Jigsaw must miss him. But he is gorgeous!

Awww Jigsaw has stolen my heart, what an absolute beauty! I know I shouldn't pick favourites but the black & white and the fluffiness has melted my heart.
I so want him lol! My heart sank when I saw his broken leg bandaged up but I laughed at him trying to be scary lol!

I'm terribly sorry again for not updating daily, I hope you don't mind. I'll try my best to update daily from now on.

Day 11 - The Opposites

So today I'll be introducing my last two cats, Ominous and Yoshi. They're brother and sister, but their personalities are extremely different!

We got Ominous and Yoshi from another one of my mum's friends whose cat had kittens multiple times because she slacked on getting her spayed (made me angry and upset! but she's spayed now thank goodness). We were only going to take Ominous but no one wanted Yoshi, so we took him too. They're both 1 year old now, even though it seems like we have had them for ages!

Firstly I'll talk about Ominous.

Ominous also has a few nicknames, them being; Moosey moo, Moosey moose, Ominoo, Moo moo, Noosey noo, and moosey. I use Moosey moo most often haha

Ominous is such a lovely little lady, I know her name might make you think otherwise but my brother chose her name because he liked the way it sounded. I guess Ominous is quite mysterious, but I never feel like she's going to do something bad...unlike Yoshi haha.

Our lady cats seem to be the most patient, Ominous does have a bit of patience but unlike Pupu she will start meowing a lot if she loses her patience.

It's very cute when she comes back home after a night out in the wilderness. She loves being outdoors but she also loves seeing her family too. When she comes back she wags her tail vigorously side to side with her tail held up and she comes to headbut you, nuzzle you and she flops over onto her back for belly rubs, it's adorable. I think her favourite thing is being outside! When I take my neighbor's dog for walks I see her in the woods - only just! she's extremely camouflage!

She loves cuddles and comes under the blankets at night to sleep by the side of me, it's lovely. She adores belly rubs and she will grab your arm whilst you rub her belly to make sure you don't stop, haha. I remember when she was a kitten she loved going under blankets, I have to tempt her to come under now by lifting the blanket up, but she used to come by herself.

She can be quite to herself and independent at times. Sometimes she's just not bothered for human attention and likes to do her own thing, this is why I think she suits her name. You never know if she's going to be sweet and loving or if she's going to be independent for the day. Either way, she's such a loving, kind cat and she's always everyones favourite when they meet her. I think it's because she's stunning (But they are all beautiful!). I think she knows she's beautiful too because she poses for the camera all the time! The nezt few pictures are examples.

I cropped my friend out of this because I didn't know if she wanted me to post it on here, but look at how much Ominous is posing here!

Also, Ominous has one pink toe! It's so cute. (you can almost see it in the first picture)

Secondly we have Yoshi!

I don't know where to start with Yoshi! But I definitely think he should have been called Ominous. For all of you who don't know, here is the definition of ominous; ''giving the worrying impression that something bad is going to happen'' - This is the definition of Yoshi. He causes havoc, he's very loud, and he absolutely loves annoying the other cats (even though he loses in the end). He loves walking and playing with things he shouldn't be playing with (like when I'm working on the laptop he will walk across it, or when my brother is on the xbox he will play with it, and it's a touch sensitive power button! very ominous!). There's one thing he hates the most, and that is being picked up. When we pick him up, he will tolerate it, but he will squeak-scream until you put him down. I don't know why he's like that, but ever since being a tiny kitten he's always hated it He also screams when he wants to go out, it gets a bit annoying to live with! but I still love him of course.

Other than the ominous side to Yoshi, there is also a cuddle bug just like his sister. He comes under the covers and loves belly rubs, but he gives little kisses back which is adorable.

I'm not sure what else I can say about Yoshi! but he and his sister are quite the opposites apart from them having a few things in common like loving belly rubs and coming under the covers.

I hope you all have enjoyed meeting my cats and are looking forward to seeing what the hams are up to!
