Thank you everyone! I'm really glad you're all enjoying this month so far
I'm very sorry I've missed out two days! I'll be quite busy until next Thursday But I should be able to do one every day from now on, but apologies if I miss a day. I have a tight deadline that I was told last minute! So I have quite a bit of work to do and I'm at Whitby this weekend, but I have internet here so I can update this thread for you all!
Day 5 - Introducing the Cheeky cat.
Today I will be talking about Pupu's son, Charlie!
Ever since being a kitten, Charlie was the most quiet one! He didn't do much, and seemed to stray away and be quite an individual. He was very easy to spot out of the litter, he has a squinty eye - we took him to the vets and there was nothing wrong with it, it was just how he eye looked. He was very cute. His eye isn't as squint anymore, but still a little, especially when he blinks - it looks like he winks at you.
We kept the kittens until they were 12 weeks old. People think they should be re-homed at 8 weeks but it's actually better for them to stay with their litter mates longer to learn specific behaviours properly. When they got older, Charlie became super cheeky! He would jump up onto the table whilst my mum was rolling her cigarettes and he would steal them and run off! haha. It was hilarious. That is why we decided to call him Cheeky Charlie.
Charlie is huge, I believe he weighs about 12 pounds. He is our miniature panther, definitely taking after his father!
He has a really funny character, his meow sounds like a monkey, really high pitch and squeaky-like, haha! It's so funny to see a big cat with such a tiny meow. He also loves extremely hard head rubs! such a strange boy. He is a big softy now and loves attention. He used to be quite happy by himself, but he's learnt to love and be loved now bless him - I think Ebby taught him that.
A couple of years ago he had his favourite toy which was a tape measure. He would carry it around with him everywhere, and take it outside somewhere, leave it somewhere and then bring it back one day! He loved that thing!
Charlie and Pupu still give each other kisses but do get a bit fed up with each other sometimes. This picture demonstrates mum telling off son by simply starring.
And this is him after feeling sorry for himself
