Luna's Landed!
Finally, almost a week after I first picked her out, I've got my little fluffball home. She explored for a couple of hours before building a little nest and going to sleep- she didn't seem too stressed out and has had a munch on her food and a run in her wheel, although I don't think she's figured out the water bottle yet. She appears to be a climber, and has already given me several scares from dropping from various places across the cage... I think I'll have to get buying some things to hang up for her to save my poor nerves. I'll be making a proper thread for her soon

Re: Luna's Landed!
Congrats! She's really gorgeous, no wonder you wanted to bring her home
Look forward to hearing more about her as she settles in.
Some hanging things or additional small shelves/ledges does sound like a good idea! Just try to make sure she can't fall on anything other than substrate if she goes climbing again, she's probably just exploring everything right now.

Re: Luna's Landed!
She looks lovely I just reduced the fall height by piling loads of substrate into the Barney The great thing about the 7mm bar spacing is the substrate doesn't fall out through the bars - I have piled right up against the side in places and a heap in the middle.
You could put hard toys or items under the shelf maybe. I was going to put some kind of hammock in mine but gave up fiddling about with it and just put more substrate in. Charlie loves moving the substrate around - he just made a big mountain next to his house with it yesterday.
