My maxi duna multi cage came today....there's 2 in the box!! Both sealed!

Amazon warehouse deal, paid £42.68 for 2 very expensive cages!! Chuffed haha!

I would love to but squeezing him in was difficult haha, will be sorting my room and will see if I can fit the other cage in haha

Mum has told me to get it listed on Facebook but I really don't want to lol. It's too good a cage! Xxx

They are well sought after and quite expensive in most places so id be reluctant to sell it too! You could sell it for £40-£50 as it hasn't been used and is twice that price in most places

Goodness knows how you moved the box - mine was heavy enough with just the one!

Em was it stated it was a sale or was there a major error done by a packer? If the second answer it may save that Packer's job if you contacted Amazon and reported the mistake and arranged to return the extra cage. I would hate myself if I caused some person to lose their Job over a honest mistake made by and over worked and under paid worker.

How do I know all this? My youngest Nephew was a packer for Amazon.com up until now as he made a mistake on a huge order and packed and extra item in the wrong box and was placed on suspension for a week without pay and then because he is a dependable employee, willing to work way over his scheduled work time they took him off packing and have now placed him in delivery.

Amazon only allows their packers to make one small mistake before suspension and the Packers are allowed a certain amount of time to safely and properly pack and order. The packers MUST fill a predetermined amount of orders per hour and failure to meet that number can result in termination. It is very hard work and very very stressful.

Please reconsider your actions and return the extra cage(unless Amazon says Keep it as they may do as it will cost them more to return then just let you keep it).

I slid it up the stairs haha, was a very heavy box! Once I got it on the bed and opened it though I was stunned. It said x2 on the box but presumed that was a wholesale box because it was a warehouse deal haha, nice surprise haha xxx

There wasn't alot stated on the listing lol, it was just a warehouse deal with a price

the original post was direct from Amazon, this was I'm presuming a return because it's the warehouse

there was only 1 listed available so I'm guessing this was the only box in the warehouse lol.

I live on an island so it will cost half the cost of the cage to have it sent back to them, I'll give them a ring xx

Have you contacted Amazon though? What if you got someone Else's order, and they paid for two but only found One? I guess I am more conscious of something not rightfully mine and my wanting to be absolutely sure that it was not a mistake on some workers behalf.

Just saw you posted as I was. Thank-You for ringing Amazon I am sure they won't want the cage returned at that expense and then you can honestly say and know you got a blessing and a real bargain.

I'd agree with Nancy, they're really harsh - my dad was a packer once and he came home every day exhausted and stressed

Tbh I wouldn't bother sending it back - if you get another hamster you have a free cage!!
