I'm glad you got to keep the second cage! This is exactly my experiences with Amazon. Whenever my packages don't come on time, for example, they refund my order and just tell me to keep the items anyway. I only bother making a claim when I really needed an item by a certain date though. But Amazon is the best!
Hello Pixiehollow. If that were me I'd put it away. At the prices of these cages I would hold on to it just in case. I have 2 of my Tamburino cages. I had gotten a pair of Campbell's hybrids and they were very good with each other all the way up to the day one passed away. So I never needed the 2nd one if they had fights. It's still in the box! But, it's good to have on hand in cage of emergency. I may or may not get another dwarfie. Or I might use this as a senior cage when Tim E Bear gets older. Either way, I have the option because I kept the cage. Good deal for you.
I have several other cages I use as clean out cages I may get another one day if they need help I have an Alaska, zoozone 1, mini duna and now spare maxi duna multy haha. So no shortage of cages but I will be keeping hold of it

Do you have Prime 2 day shipping? Cause even with Prime membership sometimes it takes 3-4 days if it's coming from another seller & Amazon will credit my Amazon gift card $5 for inconvenience. If they gave away everything every time they made a mistake that would mean huge losses for the company
Sometimes new employee will make these mistakes & everything gets documented so if you had shipping problems on a regular basis a manager would take notice
