Hamster clicking
What does it sound like when a hamster clicks with happiness? Dante, made a few clicking noises just before that sounded exactly like a car going over some bumps on a motorway when he was walking over my hands and arms. It didn't sound aggressive like teeth chattering nor was he displaying any aggressive body language and it is nothing to do with his respiratory system because everything sounded good when I had quick listen to his breathing. Oh and here's a cute photo of him from when I had him out!

Re: Hamster clicking
What I've found is if they repeatedly click quite fast it means they're slightly irritated, but if they click slowly then it means they're content. This could be completely wrong. But when winston is desperate to escape from my hands he will click really fast and when he's just exploring he will click slow. It's hard to explain the sound.

Re: Hamster clicking
The only time I hear Sweep clicking is when he is a little scared - for example when he as just woken up and is deabting whether or not he should make his way out for some food if he knows I am in the room, or when he is in the playbox but is feeling a little afraid to climb into the tube/cup/ball to be returned to the cage!
