Re: Introduction and Advice
That is the first time that I've heard of Syrians being kept together successfully. Maybe at this age they will make it? They do look older in those pics, but still cute

Re: Introduction and Advice
It is an unusual and hearwarming story I think only you can know what's best as you see how they are, and if they have lived together that long and are ageing then maybe it is just a very rare thing. Vet advice might be good even if it's just for a checkover. It's not something that's recommended but I guess there are rare exceptions. Maybe they are identical twins Is that possible with hammies?!

Re: Introduction and Advice
They really are beauties. How sweet that they make their hord in the same corner! It looks like you have two very tolerant and special boys.

Re: Introduction and Advice
You can see their age in those pics but they are adorable.
They've definitely got a bond with being together all this time. It's so unusual for syrians but I can understand why.

Re: Introduction and Advice
Thanks everyone. They are very sweet and gentle and seem to be improving every day. Custard still sleeps more than Cracker but is very playful when he does decide to get up. We are going to get another wheel soon so they wont have to take turns anymore!!
We will continue to keep a very close eye on them and we do have a spare cage if they should get fed up with each other.
Thanks again.

Re: Introduction and Advice
Such adorable little guys. Still floored by the fact that they haven't fought or gotten territorial.
