Hi everyone,

Wanted to write a thank you note to everyone - your advice has been wonderful over the past few weeks.

Despite my perhaps overzealousness in cleaning the cage this weekend Cinnamon woke right up this morning and hammied over to say hello and then promptly went back to sleep (I think she realized I didn't have a treat)

Tonight she took a treat from my open hand - reached right out and grabbed it! She's giving me more sniffs each day and loves the oat sprays when I dangle them for her. She comes up to the front of the cage much more quickly now.

I am hopeful that there will be more good developments over the next few days.

I couldn't think of any other way to describe how she moves than "hammies".

I am very glad that everything's going so well Just for future reference,don't worry if you make mistakes as long as you put conscious effort into fixing them.We all make them at some point as nobody is imperfect,and we just need to learn and grow from them!

More interest is always great as well.It could grow daily,weekly,monthly,etc but it will eventually happen and that bonding process makes you closer.This goes for any animal to be honest,and I've had experience with previous stray cats and honestly kindness and patience are extremely important and you definitely have that Good luck on further developments!
