Question Is this ok for hammies?

Ok so i recently went to the store since it was on my way home today and i stopped and was looking around. I decided to get some things for milo since i cant not get him anything while stopping at a pet store so i bought him a chew toy and got some treats but they are meant for birds but have the same kind of thing for hamsters just larger. (it is Ecotriton snak shak treats - treat stuffers) It is basically a fully edible log stuffed with treats the only thing i am worried is when i got home i checked the ingredients before opening and realized that pine shavings is one of the ingredients and that made me nervous so i came to ask here

I would say no.Ecotrition contains pine shavings last I checked, which isn't exactly something you want in a pet chew,as you've been worried about.Personally I wouldn't ever recommend Ecotrition edible logs products in general as they contain pine shavings and honey among other things.

You're welcome!Yes,definitely don't open anything you aren't sure about just in case whether it's for pets or yourself.

I wouldn't have one and there are varying reports from people who've had them.

These are good but cost a bit more in the US, presumably import or postage costs

Amazon.com : Rosewood Naturals Carrot Cottage Hamster House, Small : Pet Supplies

Maybe not as tempting as the snackshack one though as it's healthy. Our hamster loves it when he's out of the cage but doesn't show much interest in it in the cage.

I'm pretty sure you can get them through Viovet as well.Didn't check the link out before replying, but I will check and if the price is better on Viovet I will edit this!

I just checked. It's cheaper through Viovet, but I would always recommend getting multiple things at once when it comes to international shipping just because it can get so expensive and you can certainly get more than one item most of the time for the cost of just one order's worth of shipping!

Look into shipping as well first,it might be a bit different once you add in shipping cost.If you get more than just one thing though it's not as bad
