I've never thought about that but it's definitely something to remember if there is no other option!

Thanks Cypher!

I'll probably buy the .99 cent plastic scoop from Pet Smart if I can?

Thank you for your help! I wouldn't have the sand if it wasn't for Cypher ' s link when she found out I was using dust. I wouldn't have the sand baths if it wasn't for Izzy (cause they gave me a sand bath that was part of the package )

All the threads on here really do work to enhance the quality of your hamsters life including diet too

I think we all as a whole want to just work on improving the quality of care and how happy hamsters are At the very least I know that I do,and it is honestly something I have dedicated a massive amount of time and effort to and not just on the forum either.

How long have you been working at this? Also, was curious to know how many hams do you have currently? Species?

In terms of diet,I've only recently been trying to figure out other things.I've known the information collected over time for a few years actually! As for current hams, sadly there are none.I've been doing research primarily on nutrition and housing and other things for now just to kind of release the passion elsewhere until I can get my hamster but it is planned to get a Syrian around June or July

If all goes to plan it should be very fast indeed! The extra time means I have more time for gathering information as well as lots of very useful supplies and time to build a cage, which is always very good. The only downside is that I tend to annoy my parents by practically having became Hermione Granger or a walking encyclopedia or something along those lines!

This is the first pet I'm thoroughly preparing for and it is just the most incredible experience!I love helping people and just enjoying the little things like going shopping for some hamster supplies that won't go bad and also annoying my parents with the hamster talk.Annoying them is very fun,but you have to make sure to stay within reason and not go too far!It honestly is like preparing for a child but instead of a human one it's tiny and fluffy
