I was in town today and went into the pet shop there, they had a few hamsters reduced because they had obviously got to big to sell at full price and where trying to sell them off. I looked at one tank and the label said 'I was being picked on' looked inside and there was a poor little hammy with cuts all over its nose and then she moved and she wasnt using her back leg just dragging it behind her. I want and asked about her at the counter and the lady that got her out explained that as she was 10weeks old the others had started fighting with her but her wounds were just superficial and would heal. I told her she also had a bad leg and she said oh do you want to pick a different one then but I said no I wanted her! So that is how I aquired a hammy today. No good on colours but she is brown and white very pretty and dont have a name yet.

I'm a sucker for things that aren't perfect. I always buy the broken toys, the funny looking animals etc. Anything that other people wouldn't want i do.

Aww Tabitha is adorable. She will soon heal up so don't worry.
She is either a Cinnamon or a Honey Banded. If you blow her fur and he has a slate grey undercoat she is cinnamon if not likely a honey.
