Smokey's Gotcha Day

It was Smokey's Gotcha Day yesterday - a whole year since I adopted her.

She has taken over my life, my bedroom and a good chunk of my income, given me a few grey hairs, chewed a lot of things she shouldn't have chewed, and been so lovely and funny and friendly.

I'm so glad I have her. She was 9 months old when I adopted her, so she's 21 months now - no signs of slowing down yet!

What a gorgeous young lady! Happy Gotcha Day Smokey! Oooooh, now I think I shall always be having "Gotcha Days" with all my hams from now on! Did she do anything special to celebrate? Nice treats or toys or anything?
