Tubes?
Okay so i want to connect a 10 gallon tank to milos 30 gallon tank, the only problem is that i don't have toobs and since he is a syrian most toobs seem to be a bit on the small side. So i was wondering what kind of toobs would be good for syrians

Re: Tubes?
I know that some PVC pipes are pretty good and much sturdier than storebought tubes, but for Syrians the only tubes that are considered safe generally are OVO tubes which usually have to be ordered online. However, with OVO tubes you do have to watch your hamster very carefully and make sure they can't get stuck.

Re: Tubes?
You're welcome!PVC pipes also have a bonus of being extremely easy to find and extremely cheap.

Re: Tubes?
yea they are probably the most affordable well not probably, they are but my one concern is that will my hamster not be able to climb them due to them being kinda slippery and the two cages are gonna be kinda far apart not that far apart but enough so that worries me that he wont be able to climb back and forth freely

Re: Tubes?
If he's a smaller Syrian you could try some OVO tubes as they do have good traction,or someone might have ideas of how to line the inside of a PVC pipe.I'm not too sure myself on how you could, but there's probably a way but if you do line them you probably want to get pipes that are a bit oversized.

Re: Tubes?
Could you get tubes for rats? They are pretty big but defintely enough room for Syrians to get through

Re: Tubes?
If you find big tubes you could have a tube going straight up out of the tank lid, across and down into the other tank lid.
