I feel Im ready now to start sharing Pebbles and her life.
Background
Pebbles came to us on Christmas Eve with her brother Shadow, they were both 6 weeks old and came from a neighbour of my best friend, Shadow had his cage in my 9yr old sons room and Pebbles had her cage in my room. They spent time in their balls together running around the living room, and time on their own, It was a lovely time..
Unfortunately last week after only 4 weeks with us Shadow passed away, We were all very shocked and terribly upset. He had gone to bed and fell asleep and never woke up

Present day
We heard from my friend that Pebbles' sister still had no home and she asked us if we wanted to have her, After a long family chat we desided to take her, Her name is Pearl and she is moving in today,
Pebbles will be there to meet her when she arrives but they will still have their own cages. We will never forget baby Shadow but Pearl with help to fill the hamster shaped hole in our lives . xx

Well tonight Pebbles got out! She was busy terrorising the cats in her ball as she does most nights when my Daughter Niamh stopped the ball to feed her a freshly shelled nut, She forgot to put the lid back on the ball and Pebbles made her great escape.

We all jumped up and shot across the room, Niamh grabbed Cookie (the cat) and I tried to pick up Pebbles, well she hates being picked up and kept jumping away from me. so we had to get her ball back and coax her back into it. Then straight back to her home.

I think this one is going to keep me on my toes.. Good, I LOVE a challenge xx
