I'm not sure from the photo but if it's the P@H chinchilla sand I have used it a long time ago & found it too dusty.

yes it is the pets at home one we have a chinchilla so use it for him, was wondering whether it is suitable for hamsters too as I know they can have sand baths. There are a couple of reviews on it with people saying they use it for there hamsters but I'm not sure if it is suitable or not? :/ Don't really want too buy some if the hamsters wont use it though....

I would stick to the one Serendipity posted a link to, I find it much better, it is a long time since I had the P@H one so it may have changed but I didn't like it & all my hams seem to do fine with the supreme science one.

Yeah, I was looking for some Chinchilla Sand today at Pets at Home. Unfortunately, they only had Chinchilla DUST which was clearly labelled so I gave it a pass :P Don't bother looking there if you're looking for sand and instead go to Kennelgate for the Supreme Selective Chinchilla Dust (MAKE SURE THE SEAL HASN'T BEEN OPENED)

How long do you let your hammy play in the sand, and outside their cage,
Thanks,

Poppy girl out of the cage you can let your ham use the sand just as long as it likes but you can also keep a sand bath in the cage all the time for them to use.

I used to use the Pets at Home sand but I switched to the one recommended above. The boys prefer it and it makes me feel better that it says it is hamster safe. My Robo's have sand in their cage all the time. They don't always use it but it is there in case they do x
